Echoda Ngbede Joshua Ada



Echoda Ngbede Joshua Ada (BEng, MSc, MEng and Member COREN) graduated from Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger State Nigeria with a BEng Elect/Elect and Computer engineering in 2006. He then proceeded to Teesside University Middlesbrough United Kingdom-2011, where he graduated with a masters degree distinction in Electronics and Communications Engineering.

He has 10 years’ experience in terrestrial communication and energy system infrastructure. He has worked on fibre optics network while at Backbone Connectivity Network Abuja Nigeria, also worked on prepaid electricity metering IT management while at ENL Consortium Ltd Abuja Nigeria, and currently he is a staff of the African Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education in English (ARCSSTE-E) affiliated to UNOOSA also in Nigeria.

He completed another masters degree (M.Eng) from Beihang University Beijing China, in the prestigious Masters Programme in Space Technology Applications (MASTA) specialising in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and also undertook various trainings including but not limited to; training in International Aerospace and Satellite Applications Training program conducted by the at Regional Centre for Space Science & Technology Education in East Asia and the Pacific (RCSSTEAP) also affiliated to UNOOSA Beihang university (April 2015) and Senior seminar on Engineering Education and Management for Developing Countries. March 10-29,2016, Hosted by Chinese Academy of Engineering, Ministry of Education China, Tsinghua University, Organized by CAE-Tsinghua Center for Engineering Education.

Engr. Echoda is currently, a PhD student at Beihang University China, in the Doctorial Program on Space Science and Technology applications (DOCSTA) organised by RCSSTEAP and Beihang University.
Research interests are on GNSS Augmentation systems, signal analysis of GNSS e.g. Single Frequency RTK, and applications of GNSS in Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
