Welcome to the Space Application, Research, and Development (R&D) Division, a key unit of  UN-ARCSSTEE, dedicated to transforming space science into practical solutions that benefit society. Our department focuses on the development and application of space technologies to address real-world challenges, while also advancing scientific research and innovation.

Mandate, Mission and Vision

The Mandate of the Division is delivered through three thematic units:

1. RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (REMSUD) UNIT: Focus on land, water and forest management and sustainability.

2. CADASTRAL MAPPING, POPULATION AND URBAN MANAGEMENT (CAMPUM) UNIT: Focus on Cadastral Mapping, Population and Urban Management.

3. DISASTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT (DEM) UNIT: Focus on developing capacity through in-depth study, research, and sacrificial efforts in environmental management.
