
Within the frame work of its mandate to build capacity in core areas of Remote sensing and GIS, Satellite communication, Satellite meteorology and Global climate and Basic space and Atmospheric sciences applications, the Center trains participants mostly from English speaking African countries: Angola, Botswana, Cameroon, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland Tanzania, The Gambia, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
This it does through its Postgraduate Programmes, Space Research and Innovation, Space Education Outreach, Space Application and Space Engineering Divisions. This is driven by internationally qualified academic, administrative and technical staff.
