ARCSSTEE Director/CEO elected into the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Board and Council.

The Director/Chief Executive Officer of the African Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education – English (ARCSSTEE), Professor Babatunde Rabiu, has been elected into the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Board and Council.

The AGU is an international, nonprofit scientific association whose mission is to promote discovery in Earth and space science for the benefit of humanity. It has about 60000 members in 137 countries.

AGU is located on Florida Avenue in Washington, D.C. aims to advance discovery and solution science that accelerate knowledge and create solutions that are ethical, unbiased and respectful of communities and their values through broad and inclusive partnerships.
