CSSTE HOSTS SENIOR STAFF PROMOTION COMMITTEE DELEGATES FROM NASRDA HQ
On Tuesday, 5th of November, 2024, the Centre for Space Science and Technology Education (CSSTE), situated within Obafemi Awolowo University Campus, Ile-Ife, received delegates of the Senior Staff Promotion Committee from the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) Headquarters, Abuja. The delegation comprises Hajia Bilkisu-Talatu Ahmad (Director of Human Resources Management, HRM-NASRDA) and Dr. Godstime Kadiri James (Director of Strategic Space Applications, SSA-NASRDA, ably represented by Dr. Mrs. Rakiya Babamaaji (Deputy Director, SSA-NASRDA).
The Director of CSSTE, Engr. Dr. Seyi Festus Olatoyinbo introduced Hajia Bilkisu-Talatu Ahmad, who relayed the goodwill message from the Director-General of NASRDA, Dr. Matthew Olumide Adepoju, encouraging members of staff to work tenaciously in ensuring the realization of NASRDA’s mandates in general and the DG’s 3-Point Agenda in particular. Dr. Mrs. Rakiya Babamaaji was also on the ground to conduct the 2024/2025 Promotion Exercise.
The Promotion Examination held at the Space Museum of CSSTE involved eligible staff of CSSTE, Cooperative Information Network (COPINE), and Advanced Space Composites Laboratory (ASCOLab). Hence, the Director of COPINE, Dr. Mrs. Omowumi Alabi, and the Director of ASCOLab. Dr. Lanre Moshood Adetoro, were also involved as members of the ad-hoc Senior Staff Promotion Committee.
